CAP College Foundation, Inc.

   Welcome...

CAP College Foundation, Inc, The Distance Learning Alternative System, is a private, non-stock, non-profit, non-sectarian educational foundation established in 1988 under Philippine Laws and is duly recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Its creation complements the CAP Family of Companies’ mission of contributing to nation-building through the democratization of the primary institutions that can improve the lives of Filipino families. The call has been: “If we are to improve the economic lives of our people, we must educate the poor…Lack of education condemns the uneducated to fewer options and less possibilities than their educated countrymen…” Former Secretary of Finance del Rosario even said that: “It is crucial that those who are educated recognize that the society’s failure to educate everyone weakens them just as it cripples the uneducated.”

CAP College believes that the success of the “open university” concept of education in Europe, Australia and North America will allow it to bring in Filipino students to college and provide quality education to the 70% of high school graduates, in particular, those who were statistically dismissed as not being able to enter, much less finish, traditional colleges on account of finances, time, distance, physical disabilities and other constraints.

The school fee payment system in its baccalaureate and associate programs has been structured so that students can begin, continue and finish their college programs on installment payments of P3,000.00 per three-unit subject – which Comprehensive Fee already covers tuition, miscellaneous expenses, modules, learner collateral materials, access to online and hard copy research, online tutorials and interaction with the faculty and other students through free use of computers with internet connections, and face-to-face tutorials prior to the taking of a subject’s final examination.
